As a kid, one of my favorite summer treats was that of a cold and dreamy Creamsicle. You know what I’m talking about, right? A cool layer of sweet cream enveloped by a luscious orange shell! Yum! Well, I have recently discovered a recipe for a velvety Creamsicle cake and here it is:
For a Creamsicle cake:
Crush 60 Ritz crackers and then mix with 1 stick of melted butter and ½ cup of sugar. Press the crumbs into a 9 by 13 pan, but save some for the dessert topping.
Purchase a 6 ounce can of frozen orange juice and let it thaw out. Mix the orange juice with a 16 ounce container of Cool Whip and 1 can of sweetened condensed milk.
Pour your Creamsicle cake mixture over the cracker crumb crust and sprinkle with the remaining crumbs.
